Light into colour studies
2020
Photographic colour spectrum studies of white light dispersed through custom prisms.
Sun light is one of the fundamental elements that we all need to exist, yet we don’t realise it’s true value in our daily lives. Light into Colour’s photographic studies playfully captures the essence of light and its colour spectrum through prismatic refraction.
The spectrum photographic typology studies are an ongoing research project created in collaboration with Shahriar Asdollah-Zadeh, architectural designers Sarosh Mulla and Patrick Loo.
All photographs within the series are of the Collection of the Artist collaborators.
The colour spectrum studies are produced through white light being dispersed through custom prisms within the optical module.
